Spooky season is here, and if you’re queuing up horror favorites this Halloween, don’t be surprised if some of those eerie backdrops look a little familiar.
North Carolina has long been a go-to filming spot for thrillers, slashers and cult classics alike.
So if you want your next scary movie night to hit a little closer to home, here are a few chilling picks— all filmed right here in the Tar Heel State — listed in alphabetical order:
“Alien Abuduction” (2014)
