Police are seeking help from the public to track down a man who, allegedly, “climbed out of the woods in broad daylight” and stole a pick-up truck from the parking lot of a New Jersey attraction on Monday.
Officials with Glow, the spooky speedway, located in Washington Township, New Jersey, shared surveillance footage that, they said, shows the moments when a man, at about 5:15 p.m. on Monday, stole a dark green pick-up truck from the parking lot.
In a statement on the theft, Glow officials said on social media that the man sought in this incident, “climbed out of the woods today in broad daylight and stole our truck.”
“You didn’t just take a vehicle. You put people in danger as you sped out of the lot while our team was actively working on what is supposed to be the week we all talk about – when kids get the most excited about the holidays,” Glow officials posted on social media. “We had young employees, many of them reporting to work for their first job, coming onto the property as you carried out your selfish deed. Thank God nobody was hurt.”
In a post, Glow officials labeled the suspected thief a “Bad Santa” and they are hoping that by sharing the video, they can track down the individual responsible for this incident.
The vehicle that was stolen was a dark green 1995 Ford F-150 extended cab with a license plate that reads L20WAY.
Anyone who may encounter this vehicle is asked to contact the Washington Township Police Department.
