A woman was arrested and faces multiple charges after state
troopers say she was driving aggressively along US-64 overnight Saturday.
22-year-old Ernique Leeasia Washington was arrested on
Saturday. According to arrest warrants, Washington was accused of several other
misdemeanor charges, including driving while impaired, driving with a revoked
license and having an open container of alcohol in the car. She was also
accused of speeding and driving in the wrong direction.
Previous arrest warrants show Washington was also charged
with driving while impaired in March in Alamance County.
Washington is being held without bond and is expected to
appear in court on Friday, Nov. 7, at 2 p.m.
