PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A pedestrian died on Monday in Yamhill County after being struck by a car while in the road, Oregon State Police said.
The collision happened just after 5 p.m. on Hwy 240 near milepost 10.
Authorities say Larry Jacobs was in the roadway when he was struck by someone driving a Toyota Rav4.
Jacobs was declared dead at the scene.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
