Bus shuttles to temporarily replace R, H Line RTD service, amid overhead wire repair

DENVER (KDVR) — The Regional Transportation District’s H and R rail lines have been temporarily replaced with bus shuttles between Southmoor and Florida stations.

RTD said Wednesday that the change is due to damaged overhead wires needing repair and that the replacement will last “until further notice.”

The agency added that there is no time estimate on when the issue will be resolved, but that it expects the work will take “multiple” days.

Travelers are advised to take the E Line for service past Southmoor Station.

RTD stations where the H Line will be replaced by shuttle buses include:

  • Florida Station
  • Iliff Station
  • Nine Mile Station
  • Dayton Station
  • Southmoor Station

Both southbound and northbound service for the R Line has been suspended, meanwhile. RTD said R Line travelers can board shuttles at Florida Station to Southmoor Station for service from Lincoln Station.

Affected southbound R Line stations include:

  • Nine Mile Station
  • Dayton Station
  • Belleview Station
  • Orchard Station
  • Arapahoe at Village Center Station
  • Dry Creek Station
  • County Line Station
  • Lincoln Station

  • Dry Creek Station
  • Arapahoe at Village Center Station
  • Orchard Station
  • Belleview Station
  • Dayton Station
  • Nine Mile Station
  • Iliff Station
