1. Albany woman arrested, victims identified in fatal I-787 crash
An Albany woman was arrested and the two victims were identified following a deadly single-car crash on I-787 in Albany on Sunday. Imahjai Sutherland, 25, was charged with two counts of second-degree manslaughter, two counts of second-degree assault, aggravated vehicular homicide, driving while intoxicated, and other vehicle and traffic law violations.
2. Elderly driver involved in two crashes on Route 9W, one fatal
The Bethlehem Police Department is investigating two car accidents that happened on Route 9W on Friday involving the same driver. According to the police station, one accident resulted in the death of an 88-year-old woman from Glenmont.
3. 2 Capital Region schools begin implementing AI tools, policies
As generative artificial intelligence becomes more present in daily life, schools around the Capital Region are beginning to make adjustments to prepare students and staff. Earlier this month, the Guilderland Central School District launched a new AI learning tool, while the Greater Amsterdam School District adopted a new AI policy.

Full steam ahead for the holidays! The Canadian Pacific Kansas City Holiday Train runs from November 19 to December 21, with stops in Menands, Mechanicville, and Fort Edward.
5. Hoffman Car Wash in Delmar temporarily closed over landslide concerns | NEWS10 ABC
The doors of Hoffman Car Wash and Jiffy Lube in Delmar are closed Monday but it’s not because of Columbus Day. The business was forced to temporarily closed due to landslide concerns in the parking lot area.
