Fight between 2 men leads to them stabbing each other in Hunting Park, police say

Two men got into a fight and stabbed each other in Philadelphia on Wednesday night, according to the Philadelphia Police Department.

The incident unfolded around 9:16 p.m. at the intersection of 10th and Luzerne streets in the Hunting Park section of the city, police said.

Officers were called to the scene after a fight and stabbing were reported and when they got there they found two men in their late forties suffering from stab wounds, according to Philadelphia Police Department Chief Inspector Scott Small.

Both of the men were taken to a nearby hospital by police where they were both placed under arrest, Small reported. Each man had stab wounds to his face, neck and chest.

Cameras at the scene recorded the incident which appeared to show the two men get into a physical fight which is what led to them stabbing each other, Small explained.

Investigators found a knife blade, the handle of a knife and a second knife where the fight happened, Small said.

This is a developing story. Check back here for updates.
