15-day closure for Yolo County ramps set to impact drivers

Caltrans will close westbound Cabaldon Parkway and Jefferson Boulevard ramps in Yolo County from Oct. 3-17 for pavement replacement. Detours are available.

YOLO COUNTY, Calif. — A 15-day full closure is slated for westbound Cabaldon Parkway and Jefferson Boulevard on- and off-ramps in Yolo County.

Caltrans said the closure allows contractors to replace existing pavement and shoulder along the Jefferson Boulevard on/off ramps and the Cabaldon Parkway (Highway 275) to the westbound Highway 50 on-ramp.

The full closure runs from 9 p.m. October 3 to 5 a.m. Oct. 17.

Detours to westbound Hwy 50 and Interstate 80 will be available. Suggested detours from Cabaldon Parkway include Grand Street to West Capitol Avenue, then Harbor Boulevard to westbound Highway 50. From Jefferson Boulevard, the detour goes from West Capitol Avenue to westbound Harbor Boulevard onto westbound Highway 50.

Ramps and connectors closed:

  • Cabaldon Parkway to WB US 50 on-ramp
  • Cabaldon Parkway off-ramp to Jefferson Boulevard
  • Jefferson Boulevard on-ramp to westbound US 50

The work is part of an ongoing $280 million Interstate 80 and Highway 50 Pavement Rehabilitation Project.

Schedules are subject to change.
