Two people were taken to the hospital from an apparent explosion in Chatham County on Thursday.
The explosion occurred at the Shakori Hills Grassroots Festival, happening off Henderson Tanyard Road near Pittsboro.
An ambulance and medical flight were seen leaving the festival. Several Pittsboro fire trucks were also there.
Shakori Hills spokesperson Russ Friedell said there was believed to be a propane explosion at a food truck stationed at the festival. Sky 5 captured several first responders gathered around the Stuffyman’s Vegan Stuff truck.
