The special banners were installed around 9:30 a.m. at 20th Street before moving east on J Street toward 27th, and will remain up through October, officials said.
Studies show that 58% of women and 30.5% of men in California have experienced domestic, including physical, verbal, emotional, financial, technological, spiritual and sexual abuse.
Officials said the Midtown Association is committed to providing a safe and inclusive environment and is proud to amplify WEAVE’s message of “When Everyone Acts Violence Ends.”
