Gov. Tina Kotek goes Orval Faubus on us… – KXL

This weekend, President Trump offered Oregon help in controlling violent and dangerous attacks on the ICE headquarters in Southwest Portland.

At one point, Antifa terrorists zip-tied the doors of the building, with agents inside, and tried to set it on fire.

I don’t know about YOU, but that sounds like attempted murder to me.

Tone-deaf Governor Tina Kotek refused that help, claiming there is NO problem…nothing to see here, folks, move along.

So, President Trump called up 200 National Guard members yesterday.

Federal law, Title Ten, allows the President to call up troops (quote) “in such numbers as he considers necessary to…execute those laws.”

Tina Kotek now puts herself in the history books alongside Arkansas Governor Orval Faubus, who refused to let black kids go to school with white kids. President Eisenhower called up the National Guard to enforce the federal law over the Governor’s objection, just like this time.

Kotek and Portland’s mayor support illegal aliens and want to keep ICE from enforcing the law…so they have ignored 100 straight nights of riots by the Antifa terrorists.

Oregon governors have used the National Guard to halt protests in downtown Portland, for the inauguration of Joe Biden, and Governor Kotek put the Guard on standby during last November’s election.

You want a real laugh? Tina Kotek refuses to use the Guard to stop dangerous and expensive riots and calls it a waste of taxpayer money.
