Portlanders Join Flotilla Aiming to Break Israel’s Blockade of Aid to Gaza

Two Portlanders described the preparation, motives, and danger of their journey to Gaza with the Global Sumud Flotilla, which departed from Spanish ports on August 31. The boats have faced drone attacks in their quest to circumvent Israel’s blockade and deliver aid to Gaza.
