Disabled semi-truck causes traffic jam on 405 in Sepulveda Pass

A semi-truck caused a mid-morning traffic jam Friday after it became disabled on the 405 Freeway in the Sepulveda Pass, blocking up to five lanes.

LOS ANGELES (KABC) — A semi-truck caused a mid-morning traffic jam Friday after it became disabled on the 405 Freeway in the Sepulveda Pass, blocking up to five lanes.

The truck stopped just before 10:30 a.m.

California Highway Patrol said the incident was not a collision and no injuries were reported. AIR7 was above the scene and captured the trailer of the truck sitting across several lanes. It’s unclear how the truck got into that position.

A SigAlert was issued, saying the lanes would be closed for about 30 minutes.
