Chicopee construction projects in place throughout the week

CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – The Chicopee Police Department has shared updates to several ongoing construction projects taking place throughout the city.

Police said that crews from Ludlow Construction began work on Monday, distributing loam and seed on the following streets:

  • Lukasik Street
  • Manning Street
  • Dorothy Avenue
  • James Street
  • Montcalm Street

This work will continue until next Friday, October 3.

From Tuesday to Friday this week, crews will also remove excess reclaimed materials from Bonetta Circle, Hudson Avenue, and Sandra Street. Starting next Monday, September 29, these three streets will be fine-graded through Thursday, October 2.

Chicopee Police stated that driveway and lawn restoration will continue on all paved streets during this time. Road closures and limited access to roads are detailed in a map shared by the city.
