A crash closed two lanes on Interstate 40 E toward Raleigh Saturday morning. As of 7 a.m., the lanes have reopened and traffic is flowing smoothly.
The right two lanes at Exit 284 near Airport Blvd closed due to a crash that occurred just before 6:03 a.m. The NCDOT traffic cam still shows some big vehicles on the shoulder near the exit, but cars are smoothly going around them.
WRAL is working to learn more about the crash and if anyone was injured.
