DC police arrested a third suspect in a 2024 quadruple shooting that killed two people in Southeast.

WASHINGTON — DC Police say a third suspect had been arrested in connection with a quadruple shooting that killed two people and injured two others, including a 2-year-old girl, over one year ago in Southeast.

On Thursday, police charged 21-year-old Dionzai Parker of Southeast with first-degree murder. Parker was already behind bars when they arrested him.

Previously, police arrested 25-year-old Andre Greene in November 2024 and 17-year-old Jordan McClaine in July. Both suspects were charged with first-degree murder while armed.

Police responded to the scene in the 2200 block of Alabama Avenue, Southeast, around 11:20 a.m. on July 18, 2024. When they arrived, they found four victims suffering from gunshot wounds.

Two of the victims, 29-year-old Lamont Street of Capitol Heights, Md., and 50-year-old Jermaine Proctor of Southeast D.C., died.

A man and the 2-year-old were taken to local hospitals for treatment. At the time, police said their injuries were not life-threatening.

DC Police Chief Pamela Smith told WUSA9 at the time that the child and her daycare class from Creative Corners Learning Center were walking to the playground when gunfire erupted.

Police are still investigating the incident. They are offering a reward of up to $25,000 per homicide victim to anyone who provides information leading to the arrest and conviction of anyone responsible for the shootings.
