When deputies arrived at the 9800 block of K Street, they found a woman who reported that she had been severely beaten the night before, according to the sheriff’s office.

The investigation revealed that she was held against her will, had a firearm pointed at her and had her phone taken to prevent her from calling for help, officials said. Erick Trejo, 20, from Live Oak, was identified as the suspect.

On Thursday, the Sutter County Sheriff’s detectives conducted an operation that resulted in the arrest of Trejo. The sheriff’s office said detectives also recovered two firearms, one of which was stolen out of Sacramento County, cocaine and other evidence indicating fraudulent activity after serving a search warrant at his home.

Trejo was booked into the Sutter County Jail on multiple felony charges related to domestic violence, assault with a deadly weapon, false imprisonment, brandishing a firearm and possession of a concealed, loaded and stolen firearm.
