A second person has been arrested after a shooting in Wilson
left two people dead and two more injured.
On Tuesday, police arrested 38-year-old Tiffany Monique
Chestnut in connection with the shooting.
Arrest warrants say Tiffany Chestnut helped Donta Chestnut
attempt to escape arrest by “picking up a piece of a broken handgun that was
used in the crime” and giving it to him before he fled the scene.
She faces two felony charges, including accessory after the
fact and altering, stealing and destroying criminal evidence.
She is being held on a $30,000 bond and is expected back in
court on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m.
