Folsom High Bulldogs defeat Sacred Heart Cathedral Prep. 49-7 | FINAL SCORE

Folsom High School hosts Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory for their first home game tonight at 7:30 p.m. after a three-game road trip.

FOLSOM, Calif. — The Folsom Bulldogs defeated Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory 49-7, making the Bulldogs 3-1 into the season. 

Folsom High School finally hosted their first home game after a three-game road trip against Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory, a school based out of San Francisco.

The Bulldogs have been all over California, playing their first game in Sacramento against Grant High School, a nationally televised game, followed by Junipero Serra, based in San Mateo, and concluding with Mission Viejo. 

The Bulldogs, however, took a hard loss last week against Orange County, Mission Viejo Diablos, who are currently ranked No. 3 in California and No. 9 nationally. The Diablos defeated the Bulldogs 53-14 last Friday night. 

However, the Bulldogs are still ranked No. 9 in California and No. 48 overall. This is still non-league and is heading into tonight’s game 2-1, while Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory is 2-0.

Going into tonight’s game, the Fightin’ Irish are ranked No. 25 in California and No. 1470 nationally but just came off two wins over Sacred Heart Prep Gators from Atherton, CA, and Berkeley Yellowjackets.
