Police arrest two suspects in the homicide investigation of a Vacaville man missing since 2020.
VACAVILLE, Calif. — Two people were arrested in connection to the homicide of a Vacaville man who went missing in 2020.
Luther Harris, 37 of Vacaville, was reported missing by his mother on May 10 of 2020 to the Dixon Police Department. Harris, a father of two, was last seen in the parking lot of his apartment complex along the 1500 block of Alamo Drive in Vacaville on April 30, 2020.
By June 2021, Vacaville Police Department took over as the lead investigative agency and, in December of 2024, they gathered evidence indicating Harris might have been a homicide victim, eventually reclassifying the case.
On Thursday, police announced the arrest of John Lipsey, 41 of Woodland, and Erika Kelsh, 33 of Woodland. Lipsey was arrested on suspicion of murder and Kelsh on suspicion of accessory to murder.
