A male was fatally stabbed in San Francisco Wednesday afternoon, police said.
The stabbing happened at about 4:38 p.m. in the area of Junipero Serra Boulevard and Ocean Avenue, according to police.
Responding officers found the male victim suffering from an apparent stab wound, police said. He was rushed to a local hospital but did not survive.
No arrests had been made as of Thursday morning, according to police.
“My heart goes out to the victim and his family in this horrific incident,” interim police Chief Paul Yep said in a statement. “We are devoting significant resources to this case, and our investigators are working tirelessly on this investigation. We will not rest until this suspect is in custody.”
