Here’s who to call if you can’t get through to 911.
WASHINGTON — Some 911 calls are dropping or not connecting to call takers Thursday morning, the Office of Unified Communications said just before 8 a.m.
If you need to call 911 and cannot make it through, call 202-265-9100.
D.C.’s Office of Unified Communication (OUC), which houses 911 dispatch, has faced several issues, from severe staffing shortages to delayed response times. On a few occasions, first responders have been sent to wrong addresses.
