Tom Brady talks Netflix roast, ‘most rewarding’ Super Bowl win on Kevin Hart’s ‘Cold as Balls’

If you thought any of the Patriots’ Super Bowl wins were the “most rewarding” for Brady, think again.

Kevin Hart landed a very wealthy guest for the 100th episode of the LOL Network’s “Cold as Balls” show on YouTube.

Patriots legend, Raiders minority owner, and Fox broadcaster Tom Brady petted a live goat that was on stage wearing his jersey while he was sitting in an ice bath during an interview with Hart.

Brady and Hart covered a range of topics including “coddled” young quarterbacks, a recent encounter with Bill Belichick, and the “most rewarding” of his seven Super Bowl victories.

Brady was somewhat reluctant to answer the question of which of his Super Bowl wins was the toughest, saying that it was like asking him to choose between his children.

He eventually picked the Patriots’ Super Bowl XXXVI victory over the Rams as the toughest one.

“We were such an underdog, it was our second season and we were trying to build a foundation,” said Brady.

Brady went with his final Super Bowl victory as a member of the Buccaneers as the “most rewarding” of his career. It was his only championship as a member of a team other than the Patriots.

Brady said he saw North Carolina coach Bill Belichick, who coached the Patriots to six Super Bowls, at a recent event in Las Vegas.

“I opened a great museum at the Fontainebleau casino in Las Vegas called the Hall of Excellence and he came,” said Brady. “It was great that he was there. We have a great relationship and we always have. I appreciated so much, the way that he coached me and I think those kids at North Carolina have a great opportunity to succeed because he’s not like the other guys that have coached them in the past. He’s different.”

Hart, who rose to fame as a comedian, asked Brady for his feeling on “The Roast of Tom Brady,” which aired on Netflix last May.

“What everyone has to realize is that I was in a locker room for 28 years of my life and the only thing we do in locker rooms are roast each other,” Brady said. “The answer is: I had a great time. The only thing that was hard for me is that I have kids and that it hurts their feelings. I think when you’re a parent – I didn’t think about those things and I learned a lesson.

“I do think laughter is the best form of medicine for all of us and I think when I went through a lot of hard times in my life I’ve always turned to comedy and laughter.”

Brady didn’t hesitate when asked which quarterback has the best chance to carve out an historic legacy, picking Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

The game has changed since Brady entered the league in 2000, the former quarterback said.

“I think there’s more challenges for the generation of quarterbacks in some ways,” Brady said. “But, for the guys that take advantage of it, I think there’s more opportunities for them too.”

“There’s a lot of opportunity for them to succeed and at the same time, there’s challenges because there’s a lot more distractions,” Brady said. “Everyone is coddled a little bit more, whereas opposed to saying saying ‘hey, you better come in and get the work done.’ It’s kind of like ‘hey, you know, you probably should do this’. The guys that are really going to have a great work ethic, they’re really going to succeed.”
