(FOX40.COM) — A 17-year-old girl was detained, and a 19-year-old man was taken to the hospital after a stabbing in North Sacramento on Monday morning, according to the Sacramento Police Department.

SPD said officers responded to reports of a stabbing around 4:15 a.m. in the 3700 block of Knightlinger Street.
The man was found with at least one stab wound and was taken to the hospital, where he is expected to recover.
The 17-year-old girl was detained and taken to juvenile hall on related charges.
The incident is under investigation.
