A person shot Sunday morning at an apartment in downtown Raleigh has non-life-threatening injuries.

The shooting was reported around 7:30 a.m. at an apartment complex at 450 E. Davie St., close to Bloodworth Street.

The WRAL Breaking News Tracker arrived by 8 a.m. and saw a person being taken into custody.

Yellow police tape was blocking one apartment building, and multiple Raleigh Police Department vehicles were at the scene.

Police confirmed one person with a gunshot wound was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries but shared no additional details.

The incident was isolated, police said. An investigation is underway.
