Police are requesting neighbors to check if their security cameras captured any pedestrians walking through the neighborhood Aug. 20 from 8:30 to 11:30 p.m.
Somerville police are searching for a person they say is connected to an Aug. 20 fire that caused a vacant house to collapse and damaged nearby buildings.
Police are requesting neighbors to check if their security cameras captured any pedestrians walking through the neighborhood Aug. 20 from 8:30 to 11:30 p.m.
“Community assistance is critical to the investigation, and tips can be shared anonymously,” police said on X.
The fire occurred just before midnight at 75 Thurston St., a house that was under construction and vacant. Multiple nearby communities sent firefighters to assist in extinguishing the blaze.
Somerville Fire Chief Charles Breen told Boston 25 News that at least two neighboring buildings were damaged and several residents were displaced.
Somerville police are requesting anyone with information or camera footage to contact Detective Alan Monaco at 617-625-1600 ext. 7226.
