Wake County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a man after a
chase on Monday.
Deputies were attempting a traffic stop around 8:25 p.m. on Edgemont
and Hodge Roads near Wendell, but said the driver did not stop and caused a
chase.
Deputies said the chase ended at Wait Avenue and Traditions
Grande Boulevard when the driver lost control and crashed into the Wake Forest
Reservoir.
The driver was taken to the hospital. Their condition is
unknown.
Deputies said charges are pending.
