DENVER (KDVR) — The Pinpoint Weather Alert Day continues Wednesday night as showers wrap up and the first hard freeze of the season moves into Denver’s weather forecast.
Weather tonight: Clearing, hard freeze
Wednesday night, clouds will clear as low temperatures fall to the 20s.

This is the first hard freeze of the season, and because of this, a freeze warning is set to be in effect Wednesday night through Thursday morning.

The precautions to take with temperatures this cold is to protect any plants you want to survive this freeze, as well as any exposed plumbing.
Weather tomorrow: Seasonal chill
It will be a cold start to Thursday morning, but sunshine and a southerly shift in wind will help high temperatures to climb to the upper 50s, which is right in line with normal for this time of year.

Dry conditions are in the forecast for Thursday evening as well. During trick-or-treat hours, temperatures will stay seasonally cool, falling from the mid-50s to the mid-40s by 8 p.m.

Looking ahead: Sunny, milder weekend
Sunshine and more seasonal temperatures stick around Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Friday, temperatures will climb from a low in the upper 20s to near 60 degrees, which is close to normal for this time of year, then warm to the mid-60s on Saturday. Sunday will be sunny and breezy with temperatures climbing to the lower 60s.
The next chance for showers is at the start of the workweek, alongside cooler temperatures.
