Capital One SavorOne Card Rebranded to Savor
In July 2024, Capital One stopped accepting new applications for the Savor card. This was a popular card with a $95 annual fee and 4% cashback on dining, entertainment and popular streaming services, as well as 3% cash back at grocery stores.
Capital One also offers the similarly named SavorOne card. But as of today, the no-annual-fee Capital One SavorOne Cash Rewards Credit Card has been rebranded to Capital One Savor Cash Rewards Credit Card.
While it is taking the name of the old Savor card, everything else about the product remains the same as the old SavorOne card. That means that the card still has no annual fee and earns 3% cash back at grocery stores, on dining, entertainment and popular streaming services. The card also earns 8% on Capital One Entertainment purchases and 5% on hotels and rental cars booked through Capital One Travel.
There are two changes though. The card is getting a new design, which you can see above, and there’s a slightly better signup bonus.
If you don’t have this card, then you can apply now and earn a $250 cash bonus once you spend $500 on purchases within the first 3 months from account opening. That’s $50 higher than the previous offer. This bonus is available to new cardholders only for a limited time.
That bonus, and cash back earned with the Capital One Savor card, can be converted into Capital One miles if you have one of the premium Capital One products such as the Venture X Rewards.
Legacy Savor Card
Those who have the legacy Savor card will see no changes for now.
Capital One confirmed by email that those Savor cardholders can continue to use their card without interruption and will maintain their existing benefits and rewards.
