CHARLOTTE, N.C.– The countdown to Halloween is now entering single digits but you have to add a lot more zeroes to match how much money people are expected to spend on the holiday this year. According to the National Retail Federation, Americans are expected to spend a combined $11.6 billion before October 31st.  WCCB Charlotte’s Emily Schmidt breaks down the spend and where you may find last minute savings, in today’s consumer watch.
