NorCal Film Expo returns to Sacramento

(FOX40.COM) — The NorCal Film Expo will return to the SAFE Credit Union Convention Center for the second year to showcase cutting-edge filmmaking equipment and techniques.

From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Oct. 19, attendees can expect to see some of the latest cinema cameras, motion capture equipment, Unreal virtual production and more.

The event is put together by Camera Kitchen Rentals, Imported Studious and the City of Sacramento Film and Media Office.

“We’re excited to bring together film offices from Sacramento, San Francisco, Placer North Lake Tahoe, and El Dorado South Lake Tahoe to welcome and connect with filmmakers from all across Northern California,” Sacramento Film Commissioner Jennifer West said.

Along with seeing the latest gear, guests can also take part in tutorials, see vendor presentations and hear from a panel of leading and emerging filmmakers in Northern California.
