The system ahead of Helene spawned a possible tornado in Blowing Rock in the North Carolina mountains Wednesday evening. Video sent to WCCB Charlotte shows downed trees along Birch Street.
This comes just hours before a Tornado Warning in Watauga County. That Tornado Warning expired at 10:30 PM and was just radar indicated.
The National Weather Service has not said if they are going to go out and survey the damage yet.
