(KRON) — Police in Tiburon are investigating a rash of thefts from vehicles in the city over the weekend, authorities announced Tuesday. One vehicle was also stolen while another was attempted to be stolen, the Tiburon Police Department said.

“Numerous vehicles on Circle Drive were entered and property stolen from within,” Tiburon PD said. A Toyota Prius was broken into by having its windows smashed, police said, and $20,000 worth of tools were stolen from inside.

A Hyundai Veloster, which was unlocked with the key inside, was stolen, Tiburon police said. Another car, a Honda Sonata, was attempted to be stolen after its ignition was manipulated.
