Weather tonight: Clear and cool
Friday night brings clear skies and cool temperatures ahead of big changes this weekend.
Overnight lows drop into the middle to lower 50s under mostly clear skies. Winds will be out of the east anywhere from 5-15 mph.

Looking ahead: Rain and cooler temperatures this weekend
The next big change moves in this weekend. Saturday will start off dry, but clouds will increase during the afternoon ahead of the chance for widespread rain.

Rain and the chance for a few thunderstorms will continue Saturday night and into Sunday before clearing Sunday afternoon and evening.

Slushy snow is possible along the foothills above 7,500 feet in elevation, although most of it will melt off by Sunday. Colorado should be dry by Sunday afternoon with some cloud cover.

Monday will start off dry and sunny as temperatures climb to the mid-70s ahead of late rain showers.
Another chance for showers is in the forecast for Tuesday, alongside cooler temperatures in the upper 60s. Then, sunny weather returns Wednesday and Thursday with more seasonal temperatures starting off in the upper 40s and then climbing to highs in the mid-70s.
