Police officer shot in Chesterfield County, SLED confirms

MCBEE, S.C. — A McBee police officer is receiving treatment at a hospital after being shot in Chesterfield County, the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) confirmed.

Details about the shooting are limited at this time. It’s not clear if anyone else was injured during the incident. 

The officer involved has not yet been identified. 

WCNC Charlotte is working to learn more about the investigation, and if any charges have been filed.
