(FOX40.COM) — The U.S. Postal Inspection Service is offering a reward of up to $100,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspects who it said burglarized a post office.

Over recent months, several Northern California USPS postal workers have reported robberies while delivering mail. This time, officials said a post office was broken into. The latest incident happened on Sept. 2 at the Wallace Post Office at 8271 Camanche Parkway in Calaveras County.

USPS said multiple suspects stole U.S. Mail and parcels and fled the scene in a light-colored sedan. Anyone with information that leads to their whereabouts may be eligible for a $100,000 reward. If the suspects are located, officials said “take no action to apprehend this person(s) yourself.” Instead, call the U.S. Postal Inspection Service at 1-877-876-2455, say “law enforcement,” and reference case No. 2991276.
