[ad_1]
PORTLAND, Oregon — Strong showers rolled through the Portland area Wednesday night.
More showers will scatter across the valleys over the next 24 hours but will mainly be confined to the Cascades and Coast Range.
Thursday will bring sunbreaks and highs around 70-degrees.
The sky clears Thursday night, and that leads to fog on Friday morning. But the morning murk will clear for a mostly sunny day. Highs will push into the mid-70s.
The weekend will be mainly dry, but a few showers will develop Saturday night and Sunday morning.
A better chance of rain arrives Tuesday.
Temperatures will be cooler than average, with highs mainly in the low 70s for the next week.
