Traci Billick Rose, who spent nearly three decades in the Portland Trail Blazers communications department and affected positive change in many communities, has died at the age of 62.

Rose died Wednesday after battling ovarian cancer, her friends wrote on social media.

Rose performed several critical duties with the Blazers, most prominently within the team’s successful community outreach department, which became one of the organization’s strengths. She helped rebuild the team’s tarnished reputation…
