Police: 1 shot, killed on Colfax Avenue in Aurora

DENVER (KDVR) — The Aurora Police Department told FOX31 that one person was shot and killed on East Colfax Avenue Saturday evening.

The shooting happened at a 7-Eleven located at 12085 East Colfax Ave.

According to police, the person was shot and was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The person died shortly after arriving at the hospital, APD said.

No further details were immediately available, but FOX31 is on the scene working to learn more and this article will be updated.
