Circle K owner makes takeover bid for 7-Eleven

Canadian convenience store chain Alimentation Couche-Tard — which owns Circle K convenience stores — has submitted a takeover bid to the Japanese owner of 7-Eleven stores. Both are big names in the Valley’s convenience store sector.
