Arrests made in fatal daylight shooting of Oakland mom

OAKLAND, Calif. (KRON) — Three people have been arrested in connection to the fatal shooting of an Oakland woman last week, KRON4.com has confirmed. Maria Ramos was shot and killed on Hilton Street in Oakland at 2:30 p.m. on Aug. 7.

Ramos, a 33-year-old mother, died at the scene. The shooting, which occurred in broad daylight, left the neighborhood shaken.

On Friday, the Oakland Police Department said three individuals had been arrested after an OPD special resources team and patrol units identified a vehicle involved in the shooting.
