Truck driver struck by rock at Sacramento sideshow

[ad_1]

(FOX40.COM) — The California Highway Patrol assisted in the dispersion of a sideshow near the Sacramento International Airport that led to several arrests on Sunday.

The sideshow was reported at the intersection of Metro Air Parkway and Allbaugh Drive.

A CHP helicopter captured video of several vehicles blocking the intersection while dozens more people watched a vehicle doing donuts in the center of the intersection.

One person who was not involved in the sideshow reported to police that he was injured when rocks were thrown at his work truck. One of the rocks hit him in the head.

When officers rushed the area, the drivers and bystanders fled the area including one vehicle that led police on a high-speed pursuit.

They were eventually stopped and arrested on charges of reckless driving and suspicions of driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol.
