Gabe Vincent holds skills clinic in Stockton

STOCKTON, Calif. (KTXL) – There was a Los Angeles Laker in Stockton on Saturday: Gabe Vincent.

A former standout at St. Mary’s High School, Vincent returned to the area where he grew up to hold a skills clinic at Delta College.

“Yeah, no it’s awesome to be able to host a camp,” said Vincent. “It’s even better to be able to host it with my high school and those coaches and to come together and continue to grow our bond.”

Gabe Vincent has been in the NBA since 2019, but last season he only played in eleven games because of a knee injury.

“He seems like the same person, it’s amazing how we are 12 years later and he’s the same,” said Ken Green, who coached Gabe Vincent in high school and who assisted with Saturday’s camp. “He doesn’t big-time anybody, he’s just this really rock-solid person that makes you feel really good to be around him.”
