SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – One person had to jump out of a window to escape from a fire in Springfield.
The fire happened on Hampshire Street Tuesday afternoon. The person who jumped out of the first-floor window was taken to the hospital and is expected to be okay.
The Springfield Fire Department said three people are now without a home and the Red Cross is helping everyone who lived there.
The Springfield Arson and Bomb Squad is investigating the cause of the fire.
