Long heat wave begins Friday

[ad_1]

Pleasant weather continues for the next couple of days.

Morning clouds give way to sunshine again Tuesday, with high temperatures in the upper 70s and low 80s Tuesday and Wednesday.

The inland areas are under an Excessive Heat Watch from Thursday afternoon through Sunday.

KGW has issued Weather Impact Alert Days for Friday, Saturday and Sunday because of the hot weather.

Temperatures will be near 100-degrees Friday, peak in the low 100s Saturday, and still make 100-degrees Sunday. This is a long duration heat wave. Make sure to check on pets, plants and the elderly.

We’re still in the 90s Monday, but cooler onshore winds should returns after that.
