RIGHT HERE ON WESH EMPOWERING WOMEN HERE IN CENTRAL FLORIDA, HUNDREDS OF ENTREPRENEURS, PROFESSIONALS AND OTHER LADIES OF INFLUENCE ALL CAME TOGETHER FOR THE WOMEN OF ORLANDO LUNCHEON. LOOK AT THIS PACKED ROOM. MORE THAN 500 WOMEN SPENT YESTERDAY AFTERNOON AT THE ROSEN PLAZA HOTEL. THE FOUNDER, MONIQUE NICHOLS, STARTED THIS A FEW YEARS AGO WITH ONLY 70 WOMEN. AND YOU CAN SEE JUST HOW MUCH IT’S GROWN OVER THE YEARS. I WAS SO HONORED TO BE A GUEST YESTERDAY AND WITNESS SOME OF THE JOY IN THE ROOM. WE HEARD FROM SPEAKERS, PARTICIPATED IN INTERACTIVE ACTIVITIES, AND ENJOYED LOTS OF NETWORKING. THE COLOR IN CASE YOU ARE WONDERING. YEAH, IT’S ORANGE AND THE THEME THIS YEAR WAS NO WORRIE

The women’s empowerment event was an opportunity to network, learn and grow

Hundreds of entrepreneurs, professionals and other ladies of influence came together for the Women of Orlando luncheon.More than 500 women spent Sunday afternoon at the Rosen Plaza Hotel. The founder of the event, Monique Nichols, started WOO in 2018. It’s grown into a popular annual event.WESH 2’s Christina Watkins was a guest attendee this year. The gathering featured small business owners, speakers, interactive activities, giveaways and networking. Every year, there’s a color and theme. This year, the color was orange, and the theme was “no worries.”Nichols said the goal is to empower women, connect with like-minded women from diverse backgrounds, share stories, and celebrate achievements.
