A fisherman was rescued by a “good Samaritan” after his boat capsized in Mosquito Lagoon on Saturday, according to officials.The Volusia County Professional Firefighters Association said a boat captain sent crews to search the lagoon for the fisherman.Officials said a “good Samaritan” who was on a jet ski noticed a person showing signs of distress in the area and went to investigate. The good Samaritan was able to locate the victim and assist him.No injuries resulted from the incident.
