ROCK HILL, S.C. — Police are investigating after a shooting happened in Rock Hill on Saturday.

It happened on Southland Drive, which is near the intersection of Albright Road and Mt. Holly Road.

Details about the shooting are limited at this time. It’s not clear if anyone was hurt or if anyone was taken into custody.

Officers diverted traffic in response to the shooting, not allowing anyone into the Southland Park neighborhood. People were asked to avoid the area due to the traffic congestion.

WCNC Charlotte is working to learn more information about the investigation. A WCNC Charlotte crew at the scene saw police vehicles and sheriff’s office vehicles at the scene.
