Vice President Kamala Harris in West Seattle for a fundraiser

Vice President Kamala Harris in a secure limousine passed by around a hundred people littered along Genesee Street SW on her way to a fundraiser in West Seattle Saturday.

Vice President Kamala Harris is in West Seattle Saturday. She is joining Melissa and Peter Evans who are hosting a fundraiser for the Biden Victory Fund  at their home overlooking Puget Sound, according to a post from the Northwest Progressive Institute.

The minimum cost to attend the reception is $6,600. Couples that give $12,500 will get a photo with Harris. For $100,000, people can be named co-hosts of the event. She’s here for two events the first at 4:30 the second at 6pm.

Security details were in the area of 55th and Genesee SW checking vehicles and setting up a parking valet area nearby for guests.

She’s expected to fly out again at 7pm
