PORTLAND, Oregon — The dry weather from Friday continues into Saturday, with the addition of cloud cover. 

The weekend begins dry but ends wet. Very wet.

Saturday will be mostly cloudy but dry, with highs in the low 70s.

An Atmospheric River slams into Oregon Sunday night into Monday with heavy rain. The western valleys may see an inch of rain.

Rain turns to showers Monday afternoon. A few thunderstorms are also possible.

Highs will be in the 60s on Sunday and Monday.

Wednesday brings mostly sunny and pleasant weather with highs in the 70s.

Very warm weather appears likely late next week, with highs in the upper 80s.
